Let’s all spend a moment enjoying this image of Tycho captured by highly creative astroimager Ray Young. All done with a mirrorless camera, 500mm telephoto & 5.6x Teleconverter. Quite remarkable.
No your @diatomwatches timepiece has not been to space. The Armstrong Limit is defined by Harry not Neil. It’s 60,000 feet not 100 km. if that was space then the 2.5 million Concorde passengers would all be astronauts.
Well I thought it was funny. Ignoring my mission statement, real image, taken with one of those Seestar robotic scopes the imagers love. It’s everyones favourite #quasar KUV 18217+6419.
Attention @barrabest and @BBCNews I will say this only once. THIS IS NOT AN IMAGE OF #GEMINIDS, THIS IS A STARTRAILS IMAGE!!! Phew, managed to free my caps lock key. Sorry about that.
Stunning #eclipse image brought me temporarily out of @elonmusk triggered retirement. How to make moon darker than sky? Create new black disc layer and place it on top of the solar image, done. Why bother with all the hassle of attending an eclipse? Likes and shares that’s why.
Happy #perihelion day everyone.
Today we are 5 million km closer to the sun than we were on July 4th 2022.

@AndySaunders_1 Enjoyed “Apollo Remastered” (a lot). Aways liked AS17-149-22859 (a lot). Thought it would be neat to resurrect missing LM by stitching in that section from image before. AS17-149-22858. My humble attempt. Sure you could do better job if such fakery is allowed 😀
Shocking news, I have faked an Apollo image.
Gene Cernan at controls of LM Challenger returning to CM in Dec 1972.
Original image, AS17-149-22859 (left), bottom of LM is missing so I stitched in the missing part of LM from image before (AS17-149-22858) on right. Forgive me!
