This is going to be the same thing. In the US and UK, we saw a 1000% increase in children trans medicalization over only 5 years.

@zoverions @jk_rowling Many parents object to these treatments and risk losing custody as a result. Children’s hospitals don’t consult the parents. They immediately push puberty blockers, at the first visit.
I know this first hand. If you don’t know this, you have 0 knowledge of what is going on.

Miles Yardley was put on estrogen at his second visit to the gender clinic at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia at the age of 15. The clinicians referred to him as a "perfect example" of a transgender child.

Going trans gave him a lot of clout in New York City's fashion and art worlds but it came at a price of medical risks and harms: in April 2024, he was diagnosed with a brain tumor and hypothyroidism, both conditions with suspected links to wrong sex hormone injections.

He is now off hormones, stuck in a female-looking body, abandoned by doctors who were zealous about transitioning him but have no idea about what to do with someone detransitioning, and suing CHOP for medical malpractice.

“If you’re a gender-nonconforming kid, you should be allowed to be yourself.  I think that was the biggest problem. I didn’t feel like I could be confident in who I was. And if that person happens to like singing and dancing and cooking and Barbie dolls, who really cares? You can be a boy who likes that,” Yardley says.

“At the time, nobody in my life told me that was possible.”

That you should take such kids and subject them to the ultimate sexual violence, leaving them sterile, anorgamsic, and kept on a medical leash for life, is the foundational premise of the transgender movement.

You could just leave them alone and let them grow into healthy, intact bodies instead of profiting off of brainwashing them to yearn to be chemically castrated and dismembered.

Whenever good liberals talk about "protecting trans kids" or "saving the dolls," they mean using the force of law to ensure that only the first of these options happen and never the second. They truly believe they are being heroes and saviors while they do this, as they work to inflict the ultimate sexual violence on confused children who simply needed a more tolerant and accepting world.

@twidhson @rustysteeltoes In all seriousness- the doctor who developed the Dutch protocol has exactly warned of this issue. Affirm-only means a dragnet that castrates any confused kids. Many gay adults experienced gender dysphoria as children.
How can a 10 year old possibly consent to chemical castration?

The science was already done by clinicians in the 90’s. They grow up, and the supermajority desist. Hence “wait-and-see” being the only empirically proven approach. But that doesn’t yield $3 million per patient.
