@cyrusmehta 2.5 years Legal Immigrant queue did not move an inch under Biden. I am happy Stephen Miller is coming to burn down all immigration to the ground and end this joke once and for all.
@ce42 @kaidi_wu Even now a South African can get Green Cards in 1.5 years tops. Nothing has changed. Only certain countries like India, China, Mexico and Philippines are affected.
@ce42 @kaidi_wu The 90s were relatively easier. The Indian IT companies flooding the H1B system with multiple applications etc was unheard of. It was a more gentle pleasant time when real talent could easily settle in the US.
90s: Indians got green cards in 4 years
2024: Indians 150 years
@kaidi_wu@iamjohnoliver@RazMarinescu Under Biden legal immigration queues did not move an inch. There was a 2.5 year zero movement in all legal immigrant categories. During Trump 2020 the lines moved faster. Biden and the Democrats are the real demons. Stephen miller can burn this entire system to the ground fin.
@kaidi_wu You are wrong in this regard. There are ways to start companies with US citizen partners and intelligent ways to get work permits to work in your own business.
But that takes skill and a calling to be an entrepreneur. As Musk said it is like chewing glass staring into the abyss.
@soychotic Whoever made this statement has no idea what engineering means. Btw I am a triple degree engineer in CS, AI and EE. All engineering is Applied Mathematics and Physics to build things. Software Engineers literally move electrons inside laptops to run their apps.
@GabbbarSingh Also why is it that there are no people of color in higher decision making bodies in all world organizations. That in itself has inherent bias built into it. From the Serbian, to the Aussie to whoever was there in CAS. Long way to go for POCs to upend established systems.
@raygaurca@GabbbarSingh Yeah right, look at USA fighting for Jordan Chiles to keep the Bronze medal. Rules are rules is only for 3rd worlders like India. Watch America fight the CAS and retain the Bronze as a first world country should.
@GabbbarSingh Rules are rules, reminds me of animal farm. Some animals are more equal than others. By rules are rules, the Ukranian Female fencer (white) should not have been allowed to participate in 2024 Paris (having failed to make the cut). You see, rules change based on skin color.
@ANI Vinesh should leave India and settle in USA. India doesn't deserve a person of such high calibre like her. She is a diamond surrounded by charcoals.
@theskindoctor13 Vinesh should immigrate to USA. With EB1 etc. This was just the warning shot from the powers at play. I fear for that woman's life in India now. She needs to get out asap.
@theskindoctor13 There is an option, we can appeal to that Swiss court, the same way the Americans are going to do for Jordan Chiles Bronze medal fiasco. Indians give up too quickly, learn from America how to fight for our champions.
@mrsinha Sometimes a real champion does not need a medal to prove their worth. All the medal winners know deep down, they lost to Vinesh. Especially the Japanese and the Cuban. Let them enjoy the plunders of their ill gotten gains.
@jon_selvaraj@sportstarweb I was right: I knew their game. They wanted to put distance between the Olympic games and the judgement before they did their deed. And the deed was to deny her case. How much more simple it would have been to do the right thing by giving the silver.

@jon_selvaraj@sportstarweb I think they are trying to put a big distance between the Olympics and the judgemetn so that public memory forgets this before they do the deed.
@ANI In the future when a white person is in a similar situation, I guarantee you the rules will get changed.
Vinesh did well, hope she has a better life outside wrestling. She is a real champion in life.
@RVCJ_FB Vinesh should immigrate to America, where she will be respected and should start training US female wrestling team and athletes. I worry about her safety now. This was just the first warning shot. India seems unsafe for her. Better life in the US more women's rights and safety.
@TheDeshBhakt Sports is not easy. To get a Bronze or Silver is a big deal. Sports is not like coding . It is a physically demanding activity. Common Indians should first go to the gym for 10 years before they can comment on India's performance at the Olympics.
