@1True1776@lilmoemusic@MattWalshBlog Actually that’s a fascinating assertion. Abolitionists would never have agitated for the slave’s freedom if Whites were a monolithic race block.
@piperboywilliam Respectfully, a judge shouldn’t make it harder for anybody to get out of jail. He or she should apply the law dispassionately. Your interpretation of his actions as being creative were probably just routine.
You mean they controlled all 12 jurors, six of whom were black? The prosecutor only asked for an instruction of murder and couldn’t prove intent? He should’ve asked for voluntary manslaughter which he could have got. But didn’t. So please don’t tell me this is a conspiracy. Also you’re on the cusp of incitement. Have a soda and sandwich and calm down.
@charmainemceach@votevets Why is that bad? If you promoted based on immutable characteristics or any non-merit metric should a balance be brought back?

@2Blk4Ya@RealTimBlack@hampton_amia If 58% of the country is white (non-Hispanic), then most of the stats are proportional. Blacks males -about 4.5% of the population - account for 59% of homicides and about the same for robberies.
This guy was acquitted. Under Rule 404 past bad acts (testimony or documents concerning a person’s past crimes, wrongs, or uncharged conduct) cannot be admitted to prove a person's character in order to show they acted in conformity with it on a specific occasion (i.e., you cannot use it to prove they have a "propensity" to commit crimes).
It unfairly prejudices the jury by painting the person as inherently "bad," which violates the presumption of innocence.
This case appears to be simple, however I don’t know unless I hear all the evidence. Same thing with that other case in South Carolina. There were six black jurors and they acquitted. Unless you hear the entire trial or read the entire trial transcript you are not versed enough to extend a solid conclusion, respectfully. I agree that we should not be celebrating thugs, but the jury system exists to find the truth.
@Breaking57 Miami Beach Police Department requires officers to state their name and provide their badge number to individuals upon request, unless it creates an immediate safety or operational hazard.
@BartemyS He was a pompous ass. Who are you kidding? Make room for new blood. These boomer jerkoffs are buried like ticks in their sinecures and crowd out real talent.
