My students and coworkers sure know how to make me feel special on my birthday! Flowers, cards, and so much love 🌹 The best part was that I share a birthday with one of my students! How fun is that? I love this classroom family of ours 🩷

Today, students shared their persuasive reviews of their favorite restaurants, toys, and books! They included adjectives and opinion words to persuade their audience. 5 stars all around! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We made “dirt dessert” to celebrate the end of our soil science unit. Cocoa pebbles for the bedrock, graham crackers for sand, chocolate pudding for the subsoil, oreos for the topsoil, and a gummy worm on top! 😋🪱

We had so much fun on our field trip to the @ChildSci yesterday! The magnetic slime was their favorite activity, of course 🧲🧪
