Yesterday, we warmed up by the fireplace to listen to a winter story and observed our shadows for Winter Solstice! We noticed we had really long shadows! @FESFalcons_LDSB

After learning about Hanukkah, students were invited to play Dreidel! We worked on taking turns and using our counting strategies, all while having fun!! @FESFalcons_LDSB #traditionsaroundtheworld

Our class loved learning about bus safety with Buster the bus! One of our students even wanted to continue his learning in class! @FESFalcons_LDSB

When novice readers R taught to read in system that has a balanced literacy approach the brains many of them (particularly those who are vulnerable or at risk) will be wired to read like poor readers do even if that is not the intention.
