me and my friend applied for a Japan visa to attend @ETHGlobal Tokyo. both rejected.

we had the invitation letter from ETHGlobal, flights booked, hotels booked. we both hold US visas and have travelled to the US, UK, Singapore, UAE, Hong Kong always returned, never overstayed.

no reason given. Japan doesn't disclose them. and we can't reapply for 6 months.

if anyone has been through this or knows any way forward, please reply or DM. genuinely open to anything.

Abhi was the lead dev on my team for years. He has excellent problem solving skills, is highly intelligent and has the right attitude.

He was naturally leading the team without having a title for that.

I would trust him with any hard tech problems to tackle - not limited to Rust/Solana.

Whoever gets him on their team next is lucky af.
