Can I recommend this discussion to anyone in @theSNP who is interested in a radical rethink on economic policy development & how we #BuildBackBetter particularly in the light of the #COVID19 crisis.

My contribution to @EPPE_Network - research into the lack of minority representation in the Scottish Curriculum, with recommendations

Thank you @E_Vanderhoven for being so patient with me!

'We’re not all Jock Tamson’s Bairns'. @SNPBAME network says 2000 BAME folk in UK have died at hands of police, prison or immigration officers since 2000 without any prosecution. Also demands rapid change in BAME representation within @theSNP (1/2) https://t.co/OKEas1mnXZ

The rise of reported #domesticviolence during this #coronavirus #lockdown is unsurprising.

This is an attempt to provide an insight into #DomesticAbuse as it's not obvious

Do you dare to glimpse behind these closed doors?

#RamadanReflections in #LockdownLife
Time management is essential in a successful lifestyle.
This is also a teaching in Islam!
The Qur'an advises doing Salah & other activities in a timely manner. Makes sense since life is unexpected, there may be no later.

Latest Police stats showing crime is down in Scotland - not surprising considering lockdown measures. Our concerns remain about those who are vulnerable, in particular women and children who could be at higher risk of domestic abuse. DA Helpline open 24/7

Psychological harm – Some friends round for a catch up or freeloaders just taking advantage? Harm against vulnerable adults takes many different forms. It’s all our responsibility to report it. https://t.co/xxdqiIPldt

Ramadan Lockdown Day 2

Prevention is better than cure.
Fasting prevents over-eating and bad habits such as smoking. It encourages good manners & behaviours, helping to improve ourself

WFI were asked for non political party women to participate in BBC's election coverage from London. Here's our fabulous WFI national committee member @lesleyorr14. "In Scotland we aspire to be a progressive, inclusive & a welcoming nation." https://t.co/sYMl1y5HdR
