@TaylorMadeGolf Surely whoever is responsible for this twitter question needs a better grasp of English. An amount is unspecified and unable to be quantified. Surely the question is regarding the NUMBER of birdies. Report card reads, must do better.

This is why FGC is currently closed. A significant thaw required before it will be safe to play. More pics to follow.

Happy New Year to everyone.

@gee_cee_ess Breaking, not bending. That is not one movement, there are 2 back swing therefore two shots by my reckoning. Impressive skills though.

A great day for our Gents Open. The course is busy but there are still spaces available. Cash prizes for the winners. Congratulations to our member Tony Gahghan on his hole in one at the 5th in the first group out this morning.

Best of luck to all our championship finalists today. Gents scratch and handicap already on the course, followed by the ladies this afternoon.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of long time member Martin Imrie, he will be missed. Our thoughts are with Yvonne at this difficult time.

As a #greenkeeper of a low budget golf course who has as much passion and work as many hours as others on bigger budgets I'm fed up of those in privaliged positions telling us lower budget courses need to close .. there's a place for all , #golf for the masses not just elitist

[Golf Independent - Scotland @golf_scotland]

F is for Falkland, a 9 hole undulating parkland golf course inland of St Andrews. @FalklandGolf sits at the foot of the Lomond Hills in an attractive setting with the backdrop of the historic Falkland Palace, a favoured hunting retreat of Scottish kings.
