Hospitals should never be targets in war, but Putin is a war criminal who targets hospitals routinely. I visited one in Kyiv. Injured soldiers told me how they want to get back to the fight. Nurses there shared their stories of the invasion with me through tears. Stories of violence that women and children of Ukraine suffered during the invasion. These nurses told me how they witnessed Russian soldiers raping children in front of their parents and then murdering these children in front of their parents. Horrendous war crimes which can never be forgiven. Donald Trump says he trusts Putin and is trying to make him look like a friend and a good guy. I look forward to seeing Putin rot in prison.

The constitution that Ukraine has prohibits elections when you declare martial law because of the state of war takes place.. The fact that their constitution is driving this— the parliament, bipartisan support for all of the extensions they have had to the martial law. To those with short memories:

Between 2014 and 2022, Ukraine held about 200 rounds of talks with Russia.

During this period, 20 cease-fire agreements were reached, all of which were quickly violated by Russia.

None of the 200 rounds of talks or the 20 ceasefires have prevented Putin from launching a brutal all-out invasion of Ukraine on February 24th, 2022.

Those who argue that Ukraine should negotiate with Russia now are either uninformed or misled, or they side with Russia and want Putin to take a pause before an even larger aggression.

We should not and will not fall into this trap.

Today in the Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih, the Evangelical Christian family that was killed by Russians two days ago was laid to rest in a ceremony attended by hundreds.

Services were held for Olena Kulyk and her three children, ages 10, 2 and baby aged 2 months, after all were killed when a Russian Iskander missile targeted their home three days ago, leaving only the father Maksym to survive.

The Kulyk family were active members of the Blessing Church in Radushne, Dnipro region, where they had lived for more than seven years.

According to church minister Mykola Korolyuk, the family was actively involved in charitable activities.
