On this day in 1918, Patrolman Jeremiah McDonald died as a result of complications of Spanish Influenza contracted while assigned to enforcing health laws in the city of Fall River.
Patrolman McDonald had served with the Fall River Police Department for 15 years.
This presentation will educate parents on the dangers children face on the internet and how to keep them safe online.

Thirty years ago today, Officer Thomas Giunta was shot and killed as he was distributing parking permits for a community function.
Officer Giunta was a U.S. Coast Guard veteran of the Vietnam War and had served with the Fall River Police Department for 21 years.
