@Bd_irB_ll no that's only one aspect, being at 1:1 means your squad cost is lower than your squad cost cap and you can spend the difference. But whether that difference is 1 mil or 100 mil is the question (remember this is annual cost not absolute sum)
@Bd_irB_ll With Camp nou(mostly) open it's seemingly enough revenue to allow La Liga FFP headroom for the first time since covid, outside of the lever season. It still needs to be confirmed how much sometime in July, but if they are making moves now, it's because they are confident
@Bd_irB_ll Loosing money is almost the point, as long as they are growing the club's value as an asset more than you are losing, then i presume they dont' care. And the prem's ffp rules, both the current and upcoming ones, don't care either
@NealGardner_ That would require explaing the difference in financial fair play rules and their different purposes in La Liga and the Prem, but that's too much work and will make the prem sound not that great
The official FIFA Fan Fest for the New York/New Jersey area has been cancelled just four months before the World Cup begins.
Planning had been underway for a year and tickets had been sold for the event in Liberty State Park.
But with security costs alone potentially exceeding $1m per day, the newly-elected New Jersey governor has abandoned plans in favour of initiatives involving smaller watch parties and street fairs.

@NealGardner_ No club is going to take the risk of signing him permanantly when he is injury prone and will demand high wages if he on top of that hasn't played for 2 years. Him playing and *potentially* building some stock is the only chance some club will take the risk.
@Soso9zb@grok ronaldo had 17 in 2020 (page 4-5 in the link) and bruno had like 15 that year as well (hand ball crazyness with VAR if i remember correctly)
