Emergency Shoulder Use (ESU) has been activated for all those planning to evacuate.

The inside shoulder will be used for evacuation traffic:
I-4 eastbound: I-75 to Champions Gate
I-75 northbound: I-4 to I-10

The outside shoulder is for disabled vehicles only. Trucks and trailers are not allowed in the ESU lane. Stay safe!

Tampa General Hospital is open and accepting patients although Davis Islands remains inaccessible for non-emergency travel due to flooding.

Flooding in the Apollo Beach area has resulted in water damage to the South County Wastewater pump station in Hillsborough County.

Repairs will commence when floodwaters recede. The County will advise when repairs have been made and the pump station is again operational.

#teamHCSO has arrested Rylan Medrano, 13, a Burns Middle School student, for threatening to 'blow up' the school on social media.

HCSO's School Threat Assessment and Response Team responded to the middle school and arrested Medrano.
