When it comes to Insomniac Venom it’s always “he’s awesome” or “looks great” but never “a great character” or “well adapted/written”.
Been three years and no one’s been able to back up those latter points. And oh I wonder why.
Todd McFarlane was barely A “creator” of Venom, everything (most of us) love about Venom came from David Michelinie and other writers. Todd just wants sole credit for everything he touches.
We have 30 years of comics showing Venom is better as an Anti-Hero/Hero.
@AxeLBeskarX@Network_Synth@Ancomraven2 I love you just completely made something up and pushed views she likely doesn’t have onto her just because you’re pissed lol
@OllieDreamer I mean RE3 was a pretty revolutionary game for the series, and to have its remake completely gut it and turn it into something that feels like RE2 DLC (like Capcom initially planned), I feel warrants having its reputation. I actively tell newcomers to avoid the game.

@dev_madhatter@FinalGuyKris@swordclash117 I doubt you’re gonna get much of a genuine discussion out of him. People who are dismissive in their short responses don’t really care about that, as he’s proven in other comments. Just mute him and move on
@Datleyfrenzyl The Sony Trilogy, for how skin deep and poor movie quality films they are, have only been the broader Marvel audiences real showing of Anti-Hero Venom.
And they were shown inbetween THESE two.
@Datleyfrenzyl It’s because most adaptations, who cultivate bigger audiences than comic books, have only ever been exposed to Villain Venom. The closest we’ve gotten to that redemption was the 90’s and Spectacular cartoons, but they were canceled before we could GET there.
@sennaverse Up to this issue I wondered why Campbell used her skirt suit even though she herself didn’t like the skirt. I see why she saved the shirtless suit now lol, it’s fantastic
@Questionvibing@FilmsFallout What’s the purpose of this quote? Having a pretty convincing satire be lost on someone doesn’t make them media illiterate. Just when it’s a consistent failure is when they are, and there’s no present evidence of that.
