@javier078 If anything, that makes Obsession even more impressive being close to the bottom of the list. Backrooms still isn't as low budget, but considering the set alone is so large and purpose built, its pretty low budget.
@raccoonslover31@mothdamn@SwiiLive Most games use it, maybe not this specifically but a checker or grid pattern is used all the time for gray boxing, named because you're literally making the game with placeholder assets, usually starting from gray boxes.
@ArmyRecon908@freshbraininc@CultureCrave People need to give Kane credit. He's been working at film making independently for years. A teenager is capable, all the more so with how accessible tech has made many fields.
Many greats in history made a name for themselves by their early 20s. Its nothing new.
@qwe_304@Tyson_wd@DAKKADAKKA1 3060 was 2021, but covid shortages really meant the 30 series took a couple years to get widespread. I'd consider it good enough that a new game should be able to run at medium settings without much problem.
@Narixm1@COFAVO1 I do hope something changes because the game was not just Zeal's. Many others worked on and contributed towards the project. I hope that in the future it can be in trusted hands again.
@Narixm1@COFAVO1 You already paid for and own it, nothing wrong with that. Just don't continue supporting the game in new ways.
Gianni has a responsibility to stop featuring the character despite the good times to stop supporting the game even in the sense of displaying it to his community.
@KreekCraft There have been exceptions, but we're talking special single day events in select theaters. Think a premier or a finale of a big TV show, but even then those are done by companies far larger than glitch.
@haydebug_@AlexTanooki@KreekCraft They only cared about the Schlep situation because it got big enough the government got involved and so the news got to them.
Investors only care about profits, they do not care about anything else and would be fine with the world burning if it meant they made a few more dimes.
@BonyaTonya@ghostiemen@HaugerEnjoyer@b1dd0_ Those are processes that turn thing A into thing B. Yes, there is some of that here, but how 3d printed meat works is by artificially producing a scaffold that meat cells can grow onto. In the end, its near identical to actual meat sans natural muscle composition.
@hexian37496562 This is cool, but I feel like making it into a direct knock off of minecraft instead of trying to make your own voxel game is going to be a problem, both legally and with its success.
It does seem like a great engine demo right now and could be turned into something unique.
@PausarAC409@KreekCraft Steam lets you refund a game for any reason if you play 2 hours or less of it. Its pretty easy to tell if you dislike a game that much within 2 hours.
@cmspet@InternetH0F The modern hamburger, yes. Same with modern pizza. Both are the result of changes to foods made by immigrants after moving to America.
What disgusts me more is using some of the worst examples of not just American food, but also barbecue.
@iiawko@AmericanLogicX@CultureCrave That'll happen, no doubt. But that's a problem more so with how corporations are ran than with whatever tool they use to justify it. AI isn't inherently evil (though I'm not aware of any generative models that are ethical) and was always going to eventually be adopted.
@RABtoons @charleslobaugh They don't even need 1% to click. A lot of those companies have large margins on their products. That's also why a lot of common sponsors are pretty awful.
@Deng1234567890h@de_varse@RBXEventHunters It can easily enable the opposite. People have already shown that this can be bypassed pretty easily, and now there's no chance of other teens/adults who know better and could help to even see suspicious messages in the first place.
@SirDapper@KreekCraft Right. There's a reason ESRB separated 17+ and 18+ as M and AO, other game rating systems have done the same. A game can have mature themes without being an adult only experience.
@qnhcore @PatrickandHone1 @RBXEventHunters Any conference/convention has its scheduling pretty much set in stone weeks if not months before the event
Yeah its not desperate, it was well in the works before any of the current stuff.
