Unannounced @StarStable updates.
Tomorrow, with Marchenghast, we will also release some technical fixes and performance improvements:
- General performance improvements for iOS and OSX.
- Fix a problem that made particles not visible on some old GPUs.
@Parziyippee Not in general. This will only help in areas with usage of particles.
We will deliver other optimizations during the year, and I plan to comment when that happens.
On January 28th, we will release some performance improvements on all platforms. Specifically, updating particles on the GPU instead of the CPU.
This should have a positive impact in areas with heavy usage of particles. Apart from that, you should not feel any negative effect.
More official communication about this changes will come out during next week.

Hello @StarStable players!
Soon, there will be more info in the official channels, but I wanted to give some info in the meantime about the Windows users getting freezes while playing.
Because of some devices not being supported by their vendors anymore, we have also updated our minimum requirements, to ensure this problems do not happen: https://t.co/A6KIDoDTI0
@hepandeerus We are going to bring back the old values. Aiming to next week (can't promise). The whole loop balance will be taken with more time in the future.
@Phannotfound 2 different filters. The blue filter that we are adding a button to was there also previous years.
The "Save Winter" filter is not there anymore and will not return ever.
