What a lovely send off! https://t.co/1Z1JPHnFMR

[Nicola Sturgeon @NicolaSturgeon]

We disagree on lots but in the spirit of the season, I took the PM a Christmas present today - a bottle of @IsleSkyeDistil gin from @IanBlackfordMP’s beautiful constituency. Maybe she should give @NSoames a taste!

[FamHolDirector @FamHolDirector]

@Degsy_DJ @famholidayassoc Thanks Derek. And thank you for all your help and support over the years!

[FamHolDirector @FamHolDirector]

My “last supper” with ⁦@famholidayassoc⁩ staff team this evening. Retirement beckons.

[FamHolDirector @FamHolDirector]

[FamHolDirector @FamHolDirector]

Lovely dinner at @KPRestaurantW8 last night to mark my retirement from @famholidayassoc. Current and former trustees and our President Peter Long in attendance.

[FamHolDirector @FamHolDirector]

@bcedinburgh @KPRestaurantW8 @famholidayassoc Thanks Barbara and likewise. Had dinner with Eleanor’s @simonghodgson last week. He was in good form. Best wishes

Attended the Scottish Public Service Awards at Holyrood last night. Our work with @VisitScotland shortlisted for second year running. Didn’t win, but delighted to chat with old acquaintance former @ScotParl Presiding Officer George Reid and his wife Dee.

[Family Holiday Charity @famholcharity]

The weather outside is frightful, but our advent calendar is so delightful! It's time to open door 6 starring @TTGMedia for *the* controversial Christmas film! #AdventuresAreComing https://t.co/7W3pB4xiRJ

[Giles H 🇪🇺💙 @gileshawke]

Thank you to all who have donated - we went over our target to raise £ for ⁦@famholidayassoc⁩ at the weekend, but let’s keep going as it’s for such a good cause! https://t.co/XfQd8G745Q

[VisitScotland News @VisitScotNews]

VisitScotland and @famholidayassoc Scotspirit Breaks has been shortlisted for the Third Sector Partnership award at the Scottish Public Service Awards. ScotSpirit Breaks has helped over 1,100 low income families in Scotland to have a short break or day out in their own country

Fireworks viewed from Harrow on the Hill last night. Wembley Stadium in the background.

[FamHolDirector @FamHolDirector]

Thanks. But I only a tiny bit Simon?

[Simon hodgson @simonghodgson]

@FamHolDirector @famholidayassoc You are going to be a hard act to follow. Only a tiny bit jealous.

[FamHolDirector @FamHolDirector]

@stevebglasgow @famholidayassoc Thanks Steve.

[FamHolDirector @FamHolDirector]

After seventeen years, I'm leaving @famholidayassoc. Very proud of the work the team has done supporting nearly 40,000 families in that time and raising the importance of even a simple break or day trip for struggling families. #SocialTourism
