Med students and physicians, if you are not concerned or advocating against this push for FPA by midlevels. Just remember the oath you took, to do no harm. Your complicity and silence will hurt patients. Stop corporatization of medicine. #MedTwitter#medschool#aanp#aapa#AMA
@MathematicaNow Higher standardization of care. You can't have someone that goes to school online, same as someone that went to med school and residency. You can provide mediocre care by overgeneralization or provide good care to everyone
“Both the number of CPAs and in-hospital mortality decreased after the transition from a nurse-led to an anesthesiologist-led RRT.”

The #DocShortage threatens patient care & is overwhelming our already stressed health care workforce. I'm proud to cosponsor @SenatorMenendez's Resident Physician Shortage Reduction Act to invest in training new doctors, & I'll fight to include it in our #BuildBackBetter Agenda.
“The study found that patients of the physician-led team had a 50% less chance of experiencing cardiac arrest and a 27% less chance of death, compared to the original nurse-led rapid response team.”

How do administrators justify telling physicians how to practice medicine? Is an online MBA from Rasmussen University (all for less than $10k!) > M.D.? Please advise.
@BroyleTim@LeahHoustonMD@MidlevelCare@AgnesSolberg@sabarizvimd@ActualDoctor1 Its PA week..we're very grateful for good PAs working side by side w their physician colleagues. We wish them all a good week in their honor. We also wish they would speak out against a lobby that wants to divorce them from physicians and present them as equivalents to patients
@JerrySoucyRN @NurseJustinRN Please refer to your initial post. Clearly inflammatory
Wonder why physician don't post remakes like this about nurses? However on the regular, RN's continually post about physicians? I wonder why?
@lisa_egbert@MarilynHeineMD Quite remarkable that insurance companies first created this problem that so adversely effects patients, and now seek to solve it on the backs of physicians who actually ARE on the side of patients.
Also, that legislators must instruct regulators on how to write rules c/w laws.
@JerrySoucyRN @NurseJustinRN Why do you have so much hate against physicians? People that sacrificed decades of there life for betterment of patient care.
