@ShellyQ5 Hi Michelle. Which are the batteries you say you swapped out? Our alarms that have replaceable batteries, those batteries aren't meant to last 10 years, they should be replaced every year. Just asking so I know exactly which product I can advise you on. :) ^Shane.
