The Family First service launched in May 2018, to support families in Jersey-who need to travel off island with their child for treatment in a UK Hospital.
We have now supported 100 families and would like to say thank you to everyone who we work with to make this possible.

The new leaflets have arrived and look great.The leaflet is written in English, Polish and Portuguese. Hopefully we will be able to reach and offer support to more families when faced with being off island with their child for treatment. #families #FamilyFirst

At Family First, our website is designed to support families who are travelling to a UK hospital with their child. It provides online advice, including useful tips and information that is easily accessible and available 24/7.
Requests for support can be made via the website.

Happy 2nd Birthday to Family First! So far we have supported over 80 families who went off island with their child for treatment. We would like to say thank you to everyone who has supported us and worked with us to ensure these families received support when they needed it most.

Family First are still supporting families in Jersey. We can now offer support to families who are isolating at home or are in hospital, due to their child's health needs. Our Family Liaison Manager Cheryl, is currently working from home and will be able to answer any questions.
