#WATCH | Maheshwari Public School, Vaishali Nagar, Ajmer student Purvi Agrawal, a Class 8 student, shared her experience after receiving the HPV vaccine in the presence of PM @narendramodi.
“I did not feel any pain at all and felt completely safe. I was aware of cervical cancer through newspapers and understood that many women lose their lives because of it. That is why this vaccine is very important for us. The government’s free HPV vaccination campaign is a very good initiative, especially since this vaccine usually costs around ₹4,000. Now families like ours can get it for free and stay protected,” she said.
Purvi also encouraged other girls to take the HPV vaccine, saying it will secure their future and protect them from this dangerous cancer. She described her interaction with the Prime Minister as “a wonderful experience,” adding that he asked about her education, upcoming exams, and ensured there was no pressure regarding vaccination. “It didn’t feel like I was speaking to the Prime Minister; he spoke to us very warmly,” she said.
