Emotional rollercoaster...10 days ago we were told our dreams had come true and we were matched with a baby boy...a few hours ago we were told this is not our turn....how can I hold that against a woman who wants to raise her baby? But how do we grieve what almost was? #adoption

Repotted all the houseplants- hubby doesn't want any relocated to the bedroom...afraid the plant will suck up too much oxygen- all the crap he has learned over the years and he's hung up on a 5th grade science lesson....this is my life #ScienceMatters #AdultingAndStuff

In the home office, dog snoring away - hear a weird muffled voice..dog goes to investigate - hubby is in the kitchen wearing ear plugs and has a podcast playing on ear phones worn OVER the ear plugs...quietly closed the office door because I don't want to know LOL

Here we are, pile of adoption paperwork in hand....hubby laid off, I took a 20% pay cut and will need to pick up the insurance... trying not to let this all delay the process but dammit we could use a break

Finished painting the bathroom and pulled the trigger on the deck construction! We could not put life on hold based on "we'll wait and see how the transfer goes"...now to see if I have time to paint the spare bedroom before our transfer appointment Monday 😁
