🚨 "Off Campus" on Prime Video is pure poison for families.
This "cute" hockey-player romance is TV-MA smut: Graphic Sex Scenes, LGBTQ+ Content, Strong Bad Language, and zero respect for marriage or faith.
Millions of young women are bingeing it, thinking it's "empowering."
Do we want normalizing premarital hookups and discontent in real marriages?
Quote this if you're shielding your kids and family from it. Is X Rated too much? Let us know how you would rate it👇.
5/ “Progressives,” feminists, and LGBTQ+ advocates promote shows like this because they align with and advance their aims:
1) Undermining chastity and covenant marriage: These stories normalize premarital sex as an empowering or romantic expression. Feminism historically pushed for “sexual liberation” to free women from “patriarchal” restraint, along with no-fault divorce and career-first priorities. This approach decays the family by delaying or rejecting marriage and children, leading to higher rates of single motherhood, loneliness, and greater reliance on the state. Scripture calls us to flee fornication; these shows make it aspirational.
2) Promoting female-centered hedonism and discontent: By feeding the female gaze with idealized “alphas” who “change” for the woman, these shows cultivate unhealthy comparison. Real husbands—who work, lead imperfectly, and sacrifice daily—begin to seem boring. This weakens marriages as women chase emotional and sexual validation outside the covenant. Traditional values prioritize duty, gratitude, and growth in virtue; this media promotes self-fulfillment as the highest good.
Ending gender roles and complementarity: Feminism and queer theory view traditional roles (protector/provider man, nurturer/helper woman) as oppressive social constructs. These romances often feature “strong independent” women conquering elite worlds while being passionately desired, subtly reinforcing autonomy over interdependence. LGBTQ+ influence broadens “representation” and normalizes fluid sexuality and relationships beyond the male-female covenant.
Cultural hegemony and demographic shift: Stable traditional families reproduce and faithfully transmit values. Fragmented, secular ones do not. By encouraging young women into fantasy consumption, these shows delay family formation, lower birth rates, and orient hearts toward consumption and individualism. Progressives benefit from weaker churches, atomized individuals dependent on ideology, media, and government, and eroded social cohesion. “Diversity” here often means celebrating deviations from the nuclear family while marginalizing faithful Christian and other religious homes.

4/ There is nothing inherently wrong with women appreciating beauty, strength, or tenderness in men. However, the “female gaze” can decay when it mirrors the fallen male gaze through objectification: reducing men to emotional or sexual fulfillers for female fantasy, promoting lust of the eyes and heart, and fostering discontent with real, imperfect spouses.
It decays further when it:
1) glorifies premarital sex, casual hookups, or “enemies-to-lovers” passion without covenant;
2) elevates autonomy, career-over-family priorities, or “girlboss” independence above humble service to the home;
3) normalizes emotional infidelity through addictive romance consumption, training hearts to crave unrealistic highs rather than steadfast, sacrificial love;
4)blurs God-given/Nature-given complementarity into androgyny or inverted roles.
Women become primed for dissatisfaction in godly marriages, chasing fleeting butterflies instead of covenant endurance. Men are emasculated or hypersexualized in fantasy. Families fragment as media displaces Scripture and prayer.
3/ “Off Campus” and similar shows promote the “female gaze” — a concept contrasted with the “male gaze” that objectifies women. The female gaze refers to storytelling, visuals, and perspectives shaped by or appealing to women’s emotional and relational desires. It often emphasizes male vulnerability, emotional connection, intense longing, physical idealization of men, and romantic fantasy from a female viewpoint. In media, this can include lingering shots on attractive men, deep emotional arcs, shifting power dynamics, and heightened sensuality.
2/ Traditional Christian values center on the Gospel: repentance, holiness, sacrificial love, and conformity to Christ. At the heart of the family, marriage reflects the unbreakable union of Christ and the Church. Husbands are to love their wives as Christ loved the Church, laying down their lives for them. Wives are to respect and submit to their husbands in the order God designed. Sex is a profound, unitive, and procreative gift reserved exclusively for that covenant—not casual recreation or emotional fuel for fantasy. Children are to honor their parents; parents are not to provoke their children to anger but to raise them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. Chastity, temperance, humility, and fleeing sexual immorality protect the heart and family from fragmentation. Divorce is a tragedy, not the norm; the home is where virtue is formed for the next generation.
1/ Traditional American family values historically emphasized the nuclear family — a husband and wife in a lifelong covenant — raising children in a home of stability, moral formation, hard work, self-reliance, and faith. Marriage served as the bedrock of society, children were viewed as blessings, fathers provided for and led their families spiritually, mothers nurtured with wisdom, and homes functioned as little churches where faith was taught diligently. These values prized modesty, responsibility, community, and the common good over individualism run amok.

ℹ️A great movie for the entire family, aside from a few rude words and potential presentation of Church and religion in a negative way (✴️see details below). This wholesome family film will likely appeal to all viewers.
⚠️Rude Language:
1) 41 min - Shut up
2) 1 hr 11 min - Idiot
3) 1 hr 13 min - Stupid
🚨Religion:
Some viewers may notice a negative portrayal of the Church and religion in this movie. One example is the scene where the sheep believe that when they “die,” they go up to the sky and become clouds, only to later learn that when they die, they simply die. This moment feels a bit strange and raises the question of whether it was intended to cast doubt on religion and heaven, or if it was simply meant to draw a closer parallel between the sheep’s lives and human existence. The church is also shown in a negative light when it accepts money from a man in exchange for information about his daughter that was given up for adoption. While children will likely miss these elements, some might pick up on them. This could be positive if it sparks meaningful conversations with parents, or negative if kids take the scenes literally and begin questioning heaven or viewing the church as bad. This interpretation might be a stretch, but the undertones are present. Let me know what you think, and if you’ve seen the movie, feel free to share your thoughts or concerns.

ℹ️If you put aside the fact that some of the characters were voiced by a male who thinks they are a female, a homosexual, and an atheist, then the movie is okay. Kids will not know any of this, and the animated characters are not depicted in this way. Also, those familiar with the original book might not like that some things were changed, such as male characters to females. This was actually a disappointment coming from Angels Studios, a faith-based company. It seems as though we are beginning to see them sell out their beliefs for money.
