@berezin_goal Really what's the upside in adding tkachuk when Matthew's already has the best line in the NHL with just Bunting on it?

I'm down for the trade (with more added on top of nylander), but why not add him to Tavares line instead?

[The Leafs Outsider 🥅🏒🇨🇦 @Fan_Tamblyn]

@StarSports @dfeschuk This is a very bad take. Even rival players like Gallagher recognize the difference in the team this year. Sports may be binary but great teams take time to grow. Lightning and Capitals are perfect examples of that.. blowing it up solves nothing.

Petr Mrazek tweaked something and set back his groin injury. Being evaluated today.

@m_caygee @spanoel1 @SampoNick @MikeyMozzarell4 Haha that guy says he'll make it easier by asking you to find an "avg" playoff - you find superstar stats instead and then he changes his argument.. hilarious!

[Darren Dreger @DarrenDreger]

3 years $3.8 per for Mrazek and Leafs.

@PierreVLeBrun Woah is right!

[Jeff Veillette @JeffVeillette]

It’s interesting how so many people believe that cap space is the most valuable thing in the NHL right now, but also that Dubas and the Leafs are huge idiots for not giving a cap crunched team seven years of help for the 200th overall pick

[Greg Wyshynski @wyshynski]

I have to say that my favorite thing from last night was @TSNBobMcKenzie tipping NHL Draft picks from the lakefront until he was like bored of it and just stopped midway through the first round.

Like, an all-time flex.

[The Leafs Outsider 🥅🏒🇨🇦 @Fan_Tamblyn]

@MikeSouthin1 That's irrelevant to this team

[The Leafs Outsider 🥅🏒🇨🇦 @Fan_Tamblyn]

@MikeSouthin1 Lol 5 years ago was like year 1 of the rebuild.. it took Tampa 10 years so just relax bud.

[The Leafs Outsider 🥅🏒🇨🇦 @Fan_Tamblyn]

@MikeSouthin1 Well, we'd be down another additional top 9 forward if we didnt..?

[The Leafs Outsider 🥅🏒🇨🇦 @Fan_Tamblyn]

@DCMannina @djDvsToronto @AnAngryBrownGuy @DarrenDreger I just dont think theres enough room under the salary cap for a legit one.. I think we'll see a lot more of trying to play players above their pay grade to make all of the pieces work.

[The Leafs Outsider 🥅🏒🇨🇦 @Fan_Tamblyn]

@DCMannina @djDvsToronto @AnAngryBrownGuy @DarrenDreger Agreed, except that weve tried other players with Muzzin in the past and they HAVEN'T been as good. So it's not as easy as saying Holl is junk and just swapping in somebody else...

[The Leafs Outsider 🥅🏒🇨🇦 @Fan_Tamblyn]

Seeing so much negativity around the @mapleleafs trade for McCann. The right way to think about it is that we traded a 7th rounder and B prospect for Kerfoot. McCann wouldnt have been available after the draft for the price we got him because SEA would've taken him. @kyledubas

[The Leafs Outsider 🥅🏒🇨🇦 @Fan_Tamblyn]

@Leafs24Seven @JDebursk @DarrenDreger McCann wouldnt have been available at the same price after he was taken by seattle... we only got him for cheap because Pitt knew they couldn't protect him. The way to think of it is that we lost a 7th and meh prospect for Kerfoot.

[The Leafs Outsider 🥅🏒🇨🇦 @Fan_Tamblyn]

@kylemark99 @anthonycino13 @DarrenDreger Agreed based on league comparables. But he has fit in just fine for us in the 4th slot. He is a top 4 for us.

[The Leafs Outsider 🥅🏒🇨🇦 @Fan_Tamblyn]

@AnAngryBrownGuy @DarrenDreger How? By going 7-3-1? Then your comparison should be between McCann and Holl because Holl is who we would've lost.
