@LasVegasLocally@greg16676935420 That’s a little ridiculous $$. I think 10k at most would be appropriate for a slot attendant who took some information. To rationalize this ask yourself. The tip should warrant the level of service and value you received.
@GoKnights_Go@MeltzVegas Haven’t been there the last year. Not as nice as others mentioned but way better than some of the lower tier books on strip. Also you’re gonna get gouged for seating like some DT books.
Vegas operators need to move past the idea that “value” is purely subjective. Today’s travelers measure value empirically—and at scale. When you’re charging 400% margins, that’s not perception—it’s a broken model. Customers notice, and they’re responding.
@jedirich_ Convention traffic can cause bumps in activity at Paris. I was in Vegas twice in Feb. Fri and Sat before Super Bowl and last weekend. Noticeably slower for SB weekend. This past weekend I saw a lot of rugby fans at strip properties. Felt a little busier than a normal Feb
Nothing kills the vibe at @MGMGrand like slot vultures hovering over your machine. Had a crew camping around Buffalo Ascension all night, standing right behind players waiting for a “ready to pop” bonus. Add in the smoke and zero space. They jump on the slot secs after you leave
America at NYNY is in full construction 🚧 nightmare. Year 2 of their 6 month remodel. Once you get past construction barriers, newly renovated space is beautiful. Pop up bar not so much.
@seventensuited Hey Chris, my condolences. Really sorry to hear this. We have a houseful with two cats and multiple dogs. Losing a pet is like losing a family member.
Brunch at Sugarcane on restaurant row at Venetian is pretty pretty good. Try the Full Elvis with a Banana Rum Old Fashioned. Your welcome twitter sphere.
@SCVegas The room inventory suffers from too much deferred maintenance. Not as bad as Flamingo, but some of the nicer rooms in newer towers also look worn. The rest of the property seems well maintained. CET seems hellbent on nickle and diming guests whenever they can.
