i’m sorry like i have to give my 2 girls their 10’s, all season they’ve performed so insanely well, both only got 1/10th of the praise they deserved and i can’t even describe how proud i am of sami & jada. THOSE are all fucking stars!!!! #canadasdragrace
@atumbem comic counterparts personality wise even if the stories change. This wasn’t good and no one will convince me otherwise but especially not what you’re saying
People twisting themselves into pretzels to praise the intro of this character when all she has in common with her comic counterpart is red hair and telepathy. Be so for real. #SpiderMan#BrandNewDay#JeanGrey
@atumbem tells me I should really care what you think about this. Jean is at her core kind and empathetic and if they couldn’t tell this story without making her dark and “edgy” then they should have chose a different character. The characters in the MCU remain largely similar to their
@marto_dd@DANYSPHOENlX People are trying it. A lot of non Jean fans complaints are that she is too nice-y nice and empathetic. No iteration of Jean is putting people in harms way out of revenge. It’s lazy storytelling that isn’t true to her character. I swear some of these “fans” are Marvel plants.
@atumbem That’s great that you feel that way. I don’t think they need to mirror comic stories but the characters bearing a resemblance personality wise to their counterparts? They usually at least do that. And also let’s not pretend that the MCU is vastly different than the comics 616.
@DANYSPHOENlX She was cruel and didn’t care about hurting civilians in the process. That’s not Jean Grey. Jean is empathetic, kind and caring. Emma Frost would have been a better fit for this movie. Good movie, horrible take on Jean.
@Staggly@WhiteHotRoom_HQ Yeah. I was really hoping that this was a misdirect.
I’ve been a Jean stan since I was 10 and this character is Jean in name only. This person is tripping. This is Joan Groy.
