‘ i always forget how much i hate being hungover. gives me the weirdest feelings. ’
* yeah, good excuse. the warmth was 𝘢𝘣𝘴𝘰𝘭𝘶𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘺 because of the alcohol. *
‘ but, i can't imagine you've ever been drunk, i can't imagine you doing.. anything outside of work. ’
♡
‘ im doing 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵. thanks. ’
* lifting her head, she looks up at the doorman with a frown and half lidded eyes. strangely, that same warmth from last night started sprouting in her chest. she huffed, sitting up straighter. *
‘ everybody has to freshen up, even if it's for nothing. ’
* bringing the tube to her lips, she painted the red on slowly, eyebrows pinched in focus. *
♡
* she pauses, frowning. *
‘ just.. well. when you're out and about, your looks get disturbed and it's always good to.. clean up. ’
* mina's tone shifted, removing the bite it had. her fingers uncapped the tube, twisting up a bright red bullet. *
♡
* mina blinks, stunned for a moment before she giggles quietly. *
‘ oh please, i don't know if poker is all that much fun. my parents used to play at every event, even watching it could be a little bit of a drag. ’
* she taps a finger on the parasol handle. *
"And I assure you, this will be a thousand times better than sitting around by yourself putting together clothes.
Maybe you'll even join me at the poker table once or twice."
* she slips on a pair of black slippers, grabs the key off her vanity and clumsily walks downstairs to order. once that was in, she slides into one of the bar stools and lays her head down, groaning loudly. *
♡
* mina sits on the bed, staring at the closed door after he walked out. that warmth in her chest disappeared and she hissed quietly. *
‘ stupid. he does that to everyone, don't get excited. just go to bed. ’
* she rubs her nose before getting up, preparing for bed. *
* sooner than she would have liked, the morning arrived. mina clicked and hissed to herself before pulling herself out of bed. she cleaned up, smoothed out her nightgown, and stared at the breakfast menu. *
‘ blood sausage.. eggs.. pancakes.. ’
