Everyone is forced to be in Lagos. And I mean “deliberately” forced to be in Lagos to serve capitalism.

You probably don’t know this because you don’t understand how the capitalist economy of Nigeria is set up to work.

When you extract the value of the whole country and concentrate it in one location, it serves the capitalists, as people will be forced by lack of activities to leave their original location (where they live rent free and grow their own food) to Lagos where they will have no choice than slave for capitalism just to afford to pay for the same rent and food they had for free. Capitalism needs people who are desperate to eat and pay rent to survive.

It was not by accident that every headquarters and every key infrastructure and public service was concentrated in Lagos. It was deliberate. It’s also not by accident that insecurity is trafficked everywhere else before it get to Lagos. It is deliberate.

It’s very important you educate yourself on how systems work, to avoid embarrassing yourself by asking people if they are forced to be in Lagos. Of course, they are forced to be in Lagos.

The same institutions warning about rising poverty are now proposing higher taxes on fuel and telecommunications which are the two essential services millions of Nigerians rely on daily.

Nigerians are already burdened by rising transport, food, and data costs, the issue is not whether the government needs more revenue, but why ordinary citizens must continue to bear the cost of policy failures.

Economic growth is driven by productivity and opportunity, not by taxing struggling citizens into prosperity.

The IMF has asked Nigeria to add taxes on fuel and telecom services. This is the same IMF that lent us money while 63% of Nigerians were already living in poverty.

Now they want VAT on petrol and tax on your airtime. They dint say to build roads or to fix hospitals. But to make sure the repayment schedule of loans stays clean.

So let me get this straight. You borrowed money from people who are now telling you how to squeeze it back from the same suffering citizens you borrowed it to help.

Nigeria is not being governed. We are being administered on behalf of creditors. Tinubu did not come to Aso Rock to serve Nigerians. He came to service their loan.

With this report, it's very obvious that some people somewhere don't want the progress of this country called Nigeria.

IMF is hell bent on seeing Nigerians unalived by extreme hunger and poverty.

Does it mean that this organization doesn't understand what Nigerians are passing through? Why propose more taxes?

They told the government to remove fuel subsidy and they did. The impact of that singular act pushed more Nigerians below poverty line.

They moved to education and electricity and removed subsidies there.

They keep suggesting senseless and inhumane policies without talking about cutting cost of governance for the Nigerian government.

What does IMF really want from Nigerians? Our blood?

Go and read about $2 Billion arms deal or Dasukigate on Wikipedia, you will open mouth on how Sambo Dasuki and the cronies of the then president, Goodluck Jonathan shared monies meant to procure arms against insurgency.
