見山書店開設於2018年，由店主陳莘堯（Sharon）開設，她早年辭去高薪，按押自住物業開店，主要售賣文學、藝術等書籍。在地舖店面外空地，是許多文藝活動的聚集空間，不時舉辦新書發佈會、攝影展、講座等。

在營業最後一天，見山發帖文寫道：「結束的是書店，不會結束的是我們一起的時光。」

香港上環太平山街的見山書店今日最後一日營業，店家繼續賣書，不少人前往留念。

下午4時半，現場約有六七十人，或在聊天、或在拍照。大律師吳靄儀、歌手黃耀明、詞人周耀輝，資深大律師石永泰和政治學者蔡子強等也到場。

及至傍晚6時半至7時，店面關燈，在場人士拍手致意。
