@DeputyGrocott My son had this when he was younger. We used Dead Sea salts (bought from Boots) in his bath and it cleared up within a couple of weeks after having had it for months and nothing else helping.
@LeeBraganza Our daughter (now 19) didn’t speak to anyone at nursery at first. One day one of the staff heard her talking to me outside and was so shocked at how much she was chatting! She dis start talking in school but was always early quiet.. unlike at home.
@RachelDelahaye Yep! Daughter just finished her first year in Durham. I couldn’t believe it when I found out the prices of accommodation. They had to find a place for second year by October last year and the contract started this month even though she won’t move in until the end of sept!
Reports should always avoid placing any kind of negativity on being a quiet child. An introvert isn’t suddenly going to put their hand up if they’re told it’d be nice if they contributed more. An introverted child isn’t ‘passive’, often they are super tuned in to what’s going on
