West Vancouver’s Garinder “Doctor” Deo, 40, was arrested in France on July 7, 2026. He awaits extradition to the U.S. under FBI’s #OperationHardBall.

U.S. indictments allege Deo bought bulk cocaine/heroin in California for shipment to Canada & the eastern U.S., including a intercepted 99 kg cocaine load in June 2025.

The probe also charges Lawrence Bishnoi with ordering the 2023 Nijjar assassination. RCMP raided Deo’s properties; B.C. seeks to seize $11M in assets.
Deo is the fourth Canadian arrested in the case.

A press conference is not a policy making forum. It is essentially a PR exercise.

More often than not, western journalists with inflated egos and sense of impunity can be rude, even obnoxious.

The questions are frequently planted. So, it is not an always an honest or objective exercise.

The journalists want to ask“ provocative” questions, put the political leader on the defensive.

Let’s not hype up politically the issue of PM Modi avoiding free wheeling press conferences.

What is more newsworthy- the real outcomes of his visits or a press conference?

They are not elected.
Almost all of them been appointed by the Liberals.

Many Bills are passed with

There is no second sober thought and with such democracy in Canada is broken.
