Last night, IFAI in conjunction with other organisations and protest groups played a part in the protest which seen the Ireland vs Qatar game halted whilst Tennis Balls were cleared from the pitch.
The protest has drawn media attention and has drawn reactions from Pundits and Players alike, a strong majority of whom seemingly can not wrap their head around why the planned fixture between Ireland and the rogue state of Israel is still going ahead.
In the Irish stands, Unity is a rarity at times but Irish fans will not lay down and allow a state who has massacred man, woman and child indiscriminately play a game of football against the national team who claim to represent us.
13/02/26: Ultras Derry & Boys 1895
Unity in the terraces tonight as Ultras Derry and Boys 1895 unveil a joint banner in support of the Irish Fans Against Israel Campaign.
Irish Football doesnβt wear a suit and tie. It wears a silk scarf and battters a drum for 90 minutes.
The decisions on Irish football will be made by those who devote their lives to it.
We will not allow our brand of football to be used as a normalisation tool for Israel.
Soon, we will take the campaign to the heart of Irish football, the terraces.
Visibility is a key for this campaign to be successful and itβs on the terraces that the real voice of Irish football is heard.
Our updated list of groups.
We hope that the remainder of the groups will join the campaign.
The graphic is subject to change as more groups are added.
All groups across Ireland have been contacted to play their part.
If your group wish to join the collective, please contact the page or respond to the recent attempt to contact you.
