@AdamPollack49 Just can’t take “All-Star” too seriously when looking at guys careers. Jomboy does it good with their roses or flowers. I don’t think the answer is to just go by WAR leaderboard. Anyway to weigh votes based on popularity/fanbase size of teams?
@johnrapheal01 @JeffPassan Anything can happen but he seems to have a super safe floor based on his contact and plate discipline metrics. Whether he develops more power is the question but if there’s a profile to give a guy a big extension it’s his safe. Higher floor than Griffin for sure but lower ceiling
@johnsaponaro@FoulTerritoryTV@ajpierzynski12 The deal went against what Stearns said his plan was. Same with talking about run prevention and then having Bo and Polanco playing where they are playing.
@benjpalmer@hshgqi@PitchingNinja I think what @hshgqi is saying is that they think hitters will perform better against upper zone curveballs if they increase in frequency. I did not see anything from the article about pitchers/teams seeing the trend and increasing the amount of curveballs thrown in upper zone.
@IdeyShow@DailyLoud@grok No one has ever done it. Per Google: “The odds of a perfect bracket are roughly 1 in 9.2 quintillion for random picks, or 1 in 120 billion for informed picks. The longest verified streak is 49 consecutive games, set in 2019.”
