I’m working on a novel with two other writers as an experiment. I’m a structured outliner and they’re serious pantsers. What do you think: does this sound like a fun challenge or sheer madness?
And I think they’re all over the place. We were moved to different departments, which gave us a convenient excuse to put the mtgs on pause, but I may continue writing on my own.
@jpliskin @thehighsign @BCDreyer I noticed this too and was surprised at first, but it’s become all too common. The Wall Street Journal, CNN, Huffpost . . . .
@Pleibowitz @marcuslemonis And it’s not hard to do. Has the company considered recruiting at HBCUs? There are 101 HBCUs and many are accessible via online recruiting systems; post once and lots of schools (HBCUs too if you select them) get the vacancy announcement. I do this every time I have a vacancy.
@SureThen@marcuslemonis I like his glasses. He has another pair that’s similar, whose frames are sort of color blocked in granite with a rich yellow contrast; they’re also nice.
@Anywhere_Author You too? Every time they do that I think “what have I always wanted to know more about?” Thus far I’ve purchased classes on business analysis, angels, vedic math, outlining a book, day trading, meditation, oh, and about 6 exercise classes (who knew?). Classes completed: 1.
@marcuslemonis Hedge funds were also right about betting on CWH as the stock returned 357.8% so far in Q2 (through June 25th) and outperformed the market by an even larger margin.

@StevePayne82 @HamillHimself The 1st link gave a list of women: Mitzi Gaynor, Barbara Eden, Anita Ekerg, Leslie Caron, Angie Dickinson, Carroll Baker, Anne Bancroft. No sparring here, they’re all solid female actors and/or dancers whose work I enjoy.
@3nglish1nfidel Yes, it’s a good show, especially if you liked Peep Show. It’s David Mitchell as a snarky Shakespeare with bits of anachronism cleverly thrown in.
@AmericanBanking@marcuslemonis I think it’s only befitting that June is:
-National Great Outdoors Month
-National Camping Month
𝗔𝗡𝗗
June 12: ex-div
June 15: record date
June 30: pay date ($0.08/share [regular] and special $0.1532)
@marcuslemonis Just checked my holdings after work. Looks like #CWH, $CWH reached a 52-week high during the day. Just 10 cents away from breaching that threshold! Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love ya’ tomorrow . . . .
@realcodycameron@marcuslemonis With any performance rating system, expectations must be clear, and employees should have opportunities to improve. I am NOT suggesting the federal gov’t do something this draconian, but some reform is needed. 3/3
@realcodycameron@marcuslemonis "As he said, this only works in a performance culture w/candid feedback at every level." He called that 10% the “C players” who “can’t get the job done. Cs are likely to enervate rather than energize. They procrastinate rather than deliver.” 2/3
