@DelusionalHokie Lets see if we agree:
Composite rankings rn are skewed as classes aren’t finalized.
I prefer having 4 more 4 stars than not. I’d imagine you would too.
This doesn’t mean VT won’t be getting more recruits.
Average rankings will probably go down for VT.
@DelusionalHokie I’ve read every one and agree with the overall ranking argument. I told you that like an adult.
What I disagree’d with was that there was significance in what you highlighted in your initial post, bud.
@DelusionalHokie Ok, what makes it impossible is that you made a statement, got a hole blown right through it then changed what you were referencing midway through the conversation. Why?
@DelusionalHokie@B1OBEY0ND I didn’t respond to overall rankings. That’s not what you were focusing on. You pointed out average rankings as I posted your post. Here it is again:
@DelusionalHokie@B1OBEY0ND You taught me about basic math, do you need me to teach you about argument consistency or should we start with how to use the highlighter?
@DelusionalHokie@B1OBEY0ND Based on the math I was taught average meant you take the rankings of each player add them together and divide by that number. So in this case VT will either get higher or lower ranked guys (probability suggests lower) and therefore the avg ranking will drop. Maybe I’m wrong
@B1OBEY0ND@DelusionalHokie Not only that but I’d rather have the players with the high rankings than flex 2 tenths of a percentage like that isn’t going to drop once they sign these other players… argument will just shift when the time comes lol
@DelusionalHokie@B1OBEY0ND Good thing there’s a slew of highly ranked recruits beating down the door at VT that will keep their average ranking 2 tenths of a percentage above Penn State
