During out teen numbers unit in maths (Kindergraten) I introduced the number of the day. The children loved guessing what numnber they would be exploirng during the lesson. Within every lesson they would complete this sheet along with other tasks.

Brain brakes are a good idea to implement in the class when children are off task. By focusing on movement skills during brain brakes, it helps them stay concentrated while on task.

#acuedu_p really enjoyed having a closer look through the items below as for my first assignment for edfd was creating a unit of work around the ANZACs and utilising one of these boxes that was available to rent/buy. This gives student’s learning a sense of reality.

The Easter break has reminded me that we all need a refreshing break sometimes! As teachers we will always be busy planning, marking and reflecting but we also need to take some time to relax and breathe sometimes! #acuedu_p
While working as a teachers aid, one of my students had a lot of trouble pronouncing his ‘r’ sound. Together we created Ruby the Rhino who would only eat the words with the ‘r’ sound, I began to see some progress within a week of practice. #acuedu_p
