@jeff_gluck The race was great but unfortunately fox shit the bed once again. The amount of times the racing on track was ignored for some stupid reason, the amount of commercials, and the lack of excitement portrayed by the guys in the booth.
@jeff_gluck My god, after watching the excitement Crofty added to the f1 restart this morning watching the last restart it was frustrating that the commentators almost completely ignore the cars on track. Cmon yell a little get the fans excited about the overtakes on track. ๐
@JakeGray_5 @emmanuelgz99 @RockyFaithV1@jeff_gluck Itโs quite ironic to me. Nascar tries sooooo hard to appeal to a broader audience with its baseball like broadcasts, implementation of stages, random celebrity collabs, and god awful package. Meanwhile a Motorsport built on pure racing (disregard DRS) and ingenuity reigns supreme
@emmanuelgz99 @Tominy_Cricket @jeff_gluck Nascar broadcasters do a terrible job of making you feel invested in the racing unlike f1. In Formula 1 every small detail has so much weight to it but in nascar if someone blows an engine, oh well they could win next week. Iโd compare nascar broadcasts to mid season MLB games.
@GutmanWayde@EricEstepp17@NASCAR I wouldnโt go as far to say nascar isnโt racing but if there was a sliding scale from racing to entertainment, nascar would be closer to entertainment than racing/sport. Nascar is trying too hard to be appealing to the masses and are pushing away their hardcore fans.
@bloodtv_@squirrel_taco@thisisasimon @uulllkenberrrr @FIA_F2 Took u a day to reply. The feature race already happened so itโs a bit irrelevant now donโt u think? ๐
@squirrel_taco@thisisasimon@bloodtv_ @uulllkenberrrr @FIA_F2 Donโt forget mick was already impeded through the middle sector and was already 1 second down on his delta. He shouldโve backed off but he didnโt.
@jjsmoothp @nintendonaut @RealBlameTruth Itโs a video game it should be op. Every gun should be viable to use. How about rather than nerfing the guns that are already good, buff the weapons that suck so there are more options.
@Chris_Theurer44@DLand91 For nascar I think top 20 or so being awarded points would benefit the series greatly. Especially for those running further back it would incentivize them to go for stage points instead. It would spice up the middle of the race since itโs the only real opportunity to get points.
@mslyson@wearetherace@XPBImages There is always limits to how hard a driver can push. The limit doesnโt have to be fastest lap time. The limit includes preservation. Watching the drivers find that limit throughout the practice sessions and converting that into race strategy is what entertains me the most in f1.
