When I arrived in the Bamyan Province we were greeted with open arms by the Hazara people. My interpreters become my family. I love them as my brothers. The Hazara people are facing genocide and the world is looking away. #StopHazaraGenocide

The Hazaras have been persecuted by both #Afghanistan and #Pakistan as well as non-state militant groups. During the reign of Emir Abdur Rahman Khan (1880–1901), millions of Hazaras were killed, expelled and enslaved. The Hazaras stood with us!
