"The emotional turmoil of grieving can be unnerving for even the most secure teen. Intense and frightening mood swings make some question their sanity." (Perschy, 2004)
When students are grieving, they depend on their teacher to be understanding and caring. #csumb#ls400
If this photo;
-cheers someone up a little
-makes someone smile
-makes them feel less alone
..then this is what Social Media should be…
Maybe if we all retweet this it might just help one person who isn’t feeling too good about themselves at the moment

October is #BullyingPreventionMonth. With kids spending even more time online during this pandemic, it's important to be on the lookout for cyberbullying. Bullying/cyberbullying is one of our most requested school programs. We're still available to deliver virtual presentations.
Remember teachers/parents, most teens hide their online behavior! You may not be aware of whats really going on. "A survey of teens found that 70 percent of them are hiding their online behavior from their parents." #csumbls350#inform#futureteachers https://t.co/lNcw6CFimv
This is great information to have and to share with anyone who may need it. Social media is a great tool, but we should all stay informed and aware.

@RileyDough00@teacher2teacher@CSUMB_SCTA@CSUMB_LS @fmalagon12 @mrenriquezclass A# I plan to use technology as a way to keep students engaged, using things like jamboard, kahoot, polls, etc. I think it's a great tool, but I wouldn't want to use it as my main approach.
@getthatrightgtr Participating in competitions in school always pushed me to do better in school, I think it can be really beneficial for some students #csumbls350
