There is police activity in the 500 block of Ninth Street Northwest. We're asking individuals to please avoid the area as we work with the Rice County Sheriff's Office with an investigation.
This staged demonstration is aimed to increase awareness of the dangers of driving under the influence, driving distracted and other risky driving habits that too commonly result in motor vehicle crashes.
A number of our public safety partners will be joining forces with Faribault Public Schools and Bethlehem Academy for a Mock Crash tomorrow (April 30) at 1 p.m. on the grounds of Bethlehem Academy.
Roads in the immediate vicinity will be closed to help facilitate the simulated crash, and a helicopter will be landing on scene. Please do not be alarmed if you see a large presence of public safety personnel and vehicles.
