Imagine your entire livelihood is online and you’ve been cut off from the internet for 50 days. How do you feed your family?

Imagine your child lives abroad, and you have no way to check if they’re safe. No message. No call. Nothing. How does that feel?

Imagine needing the name of a medication, something urgent and you can’t even look it up on google.

People in Iran have been living this reality for nearly 50 days straight.

Businesses are collapsing. Families are in the dark. Anxiety is constant.

Why does “human rights” speak loudly about war, but stay silent about a nation being cut off from the world?

Silence is not neutral.

Iran belongs collectively to all Iranians, a people with 7,000 years of civilization who have spent the last 47 years fighting oppression and destruction. We have spent decades resisting with empty hands or choosing the bitter path of exile.

The infrastructure and power plants of this land belong to the freedom-seeking people of Iran. Threatening to turn Iran into "hell" is exactly what we’ve been fighting against for 47 years

Iran is not the Islamic Republic.

Iran’s civilian infrastructure belongs to the Iranian people and to the future of a free Iran. The Islamic Republic’s infrastructure is the machinery of repression and terror used to keep that future from becoming reality.

Iran must be protected. The regime must be dismantled.

I ask President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu to continue targeting the regime and its apparatus of repression, while sparing the civilian infrastructure Iranians will need to rebuild our country.

With the support of the US and Israel, and above all the sacrifice of Iranian patriots, the hour of Iran’s freedom is at hand.

In the past few hours, this is the only message I’ve received from Iran. The sender wrote:

“Our connection to the outside world has been completely cut off. Everyone has been warned that anyone who connects to the open internet will be arrested. When the internet is cut, people start losing hope because we have no idea what’s happening outside.
Please be our voice and tell the world that we’ve been taken hostage by them.”

Right now the Islamic Republic has imposed one of the most severe internet shutdowns on 90 million people in Iran. Their lives are at risk.
If you truly care about the people of Iran, amplify their call. Be their voice, not someone speaking in their place
