"Forced" rhubarb is grown inside barns or greenhouses throughout the winter months in Ontario. The roots are harvested from outdoors in the fall and grown in buildings at 10°C. This allow the plants to bud and grow in the middle of Ontario's winter. #loveONTfood #eatlocal
