A great Windrush Event last night. 90 tenants attended compered by the incomparable Hesketh Benoit. There was a steel band, dancers, a poet, a story teller, a harmonica player, singers and more.

Lobby against rent increases! This is not a Residents' Association event but we are all welcome to come.

@haringeycouncil @perayahmet @D_Carlin1 Come and join Tuesday's lobby against April Fool's Day rent increases for 14,944 @haringeycouncil tenants.

Nationally, 47% of food bank users are social housing tenants.

Poverty watchdog @TrussellTrust says:

The next quarterly Estate Walkabout will take place on Thursday 8th February starting at 1.30 pm. The meeting place will be outside the Broadwater Farm Community Centre 1 Adams Road. This is a good opportunity for residents to bring up estate issues with council officers.
