To be fair, the FMX Hunter challenge was created quite spontaneously and evolved as we went.
We had to improvise, adapt the rules, fight bots, and solve situations that nobody could have predicted on day one.
Could the tie for second place have been settled with an extra challenge?
Maybe.
But then the third-place Hunter might have lost a well-earned podium finish.
That's exactly why competition rules should be defined before a game starts — or, in exceptional cases, clarified during the game.
Not after it ends.
So let's hear your ideas.
Would you like to see more challenges like FMX Hunter?
What rules would you change?
What would make the game more fun, more competitive, or more fair?
We're listening.
Yes, that's correct.
Second place was shared by two Hunters with the same score, so the 5 FMX prize was split equally.
It creates an unusual result where each silver winner receives 2.5 FMX, while the bronze prize remains 3 FMX.
The important point is that all Hunters also keep every FMX they caught during the challenge, so the final totals are still determined by both catches and prizes.
Our month-long FMX Hunter marathon is over. What a ride it was.
We had to improvise, adapt the rules, experiment with anti-bot protection, and vary posting times to give Hunters from different parts of the world a fair chance.
And together, we made it work.
Yes, not everyone became a winner.
But every FMX Hunter gained something valuable: hands-on experience with Chia Offers.
Offers are one of the most unique features of the Chia protocol. They allow direct peer-to-peer asset exchange without relying on centralized exchanges.
And this technology has far more potential than most people realize.
Over the coming weeks, we’ll continue sharing ideas, use cases, and unique capabilities of the Chia blockchain - including Offers and other powerful tools built into the protocol.
If you’d like to see more content like this, let us know with a like.
And if you think more people should discover what Chia can do, a repost would help a lot.
That's the nature of a competition.
The FMX Hunter prize pool was fixed from the beginning: 10 FMX, 5 FMX, and 3 FMX.
When two Hunters finish with the same score, they share the prize for that position equally.
Otherwise, with enough ties, we would have to keep expanding the prize pool indefinitely, which would make the competition rules inconsistent.
The good news is that every winner also keeps all the FMX they caught during the hunt.
Well done, Hunter! 🎯
@Claymoreth called it correctly.
The final FMX Hunter standings are:
🥇 @ChloeWantsIt - 6 catches
🥈 @Claymoreth - 4 catches
🥈 @Erlandpox - 4 catches
🥉 @Tarun_CL - 3 catches
As promised, the prize pool is:
🥇 10 FMX
🥈 5 FMX
🥉 3 FMX
Since we have a tie for second place, the silver prize will be split equally:
🥈 @Claymoreth - 2.5 FMX
🥈 @Erlandpox - 2.5 FMX
Yes, this creates the amusing situation where each silver winner receives slightly less bonus FMX than the bronze winner. 🤔
But when we add the FMX already caught during the hunt, both silver Hunters still come out ahead.
Congratulations to all winners!
Please send us your **Chia wallet addresses** so we can deliver your prizes.
Well, Hunters...

It’s Friday. And Friday means FarmX Day. Why?
Because if you stake FMX today, your first XCH reward can arrive as early as tomorrow. As usual, every Friday in May, today’s FMX Hunter QR offer contains 2 FMX instead of 1.
A successful Hunter today gets more than just another catch. They get a chance to put those FMX to work and start collecting weekly XCH rewards.
Catch it. Stake it. Watch it grow.

We understand the situation, and we’re sorry about the lost wallet.
However, the confirmation rule was publicly announced on May 12 and has already been applied equally in previous disputed cases. All confirmations must be submitted on the same day the offer is claimed.
We have already refused late confirmations before under the same rule, so changing it now - even for a very understandable reason - would be unfair to other Hunters. A competition only works when the rules are the same for everyone. 🌱
