Paul Calandra says he has prepared for "every possibility" with regards to job action this school year.
If he had worked as hard this summer hammering out a fair deal with education workers, we woul have a deal by now.
Just like @Sflecce - wrong priorities!

Ontario schools have received $6.35 BILLION less since 2018 than if funding had kept pace with inflation. That’s not spin — that’s the province’s own numbers, adjusted for reality. $260 less per student this year alone. Teachers, you’re not imagining it. #OntEd
Sure. This from Doug Ford, who took a 4 month summer break in 2025, followed by a 4 month Xmas break, followed by a 5 month summer break in 2026 from June until Halloween.😡
Last time, after Teachers and education workers worked two years without a contract, Ford and Leece managed to turn a lot of parents against them, this time it looks like most parents know the problem is Ford and Calandra, not the Teachers and education workers.
Teachers, has this happened to you?
A student throws up in the morning? Sent to school. Running a fever? Sent to school. Coughing with a runny nose? Sent to school.
People need to work, so sick kids are sent to our workplace.
And then people wonder why teachers need sick days.
Thanks to Trump this is what people from around the World think of the American people now & it’s really eye opening. We’re seen to the World as no better than Russia or China especially after the way we treated Canada & Greenland. They don’t understand why we’re not fighting.
