This morning our farmers are being bombarded by the department of Labour @deptoflabour via calls asking for databases of farmers & employees. Seemingly there’s a call Center put up whilst we’ve got so many unemployed youth that could be doing farm to farm visits for all this!

It is very shocking to witness our Africans fighting amongst each other for jobs on the farms here in the Western Cape! We call upon @AgriSA1904 to call upon its members to hire SA nationals & @DALRRDgov_ZA to engage with @deptoflabour to do its job before lives are lost.
