The Annual Town Meeting for the Town of Farmington will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025, at 7:00 PM in the Farmington High School Auditorium.

Farmington Avenue (RT. 4) will be closed to traffic from Town Farm Road to Devonwood Drive due to a motor vehicle accident. Please seek alternate routes.
Main Street (RT. 10) will be closed from Mountain Road to Meadow Road due to a water main break. The closure will be in place for an extended period of time. Seek alternate routes.

Old Mountain Rd is closed between Mountain Spring and Rt 4 (Farmington Ave) due to a motor vehicle accident. Motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Town Farm Road is closed. There is a hard closure between Girard Avenue and the Avon Town Line due to a structure fire. Please avoid the area until further notice.

All traffic will be detoured onto West Avon Rd (RT167) and Brickyard Rd.
Due to dangerously low temperatures, the state’s severe cold weather protocol will go into effect beginning at 6:00 p.m. tonight, Monday, January 6, 2025, and remain in effect through 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 9, 2025.
The Farmington Community Center, located at 321 New Britain Ave, Unionville, CT 06085 will be available to residents seeking shelter.
The Community Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am until 10:00 pm. The warming shelter can be opened by calling the routine number at Farmington Police Department – 860-675-2400.
If you or someone you know is homeless and in urgent need of shelter, please dial 2-1-1 for emergency support and connection to a shelter (available 24/7).

Today, December 3rd, marks the conclusion of the Town's 2024 leaf collection program. Over the past several weeks, the Highway and Grounds crew has successfully completed two rounds of leaf collections throughout our community.
