You can reassemble pottery & have a go at making Roman mosaics.
There will also be Roman-themed crafts taking place in our Stone Barn & Docky Box Cafe will be serving up some delicious treats all day!

Learn how to battle like a medieval knight! Knight School sessions will run every hour until 3:00 PM.
The sessions cost ยฃ4.50 each & are suitable for anyone over the age of 6, with no upper age limit!

Join us on Sunday 25th & Monday 26th of August for a showcase of skilled craftspeople demonstrating their skills and selling their wares! From ceramics to paper marbling to blacksmithing, there's something for everyone!
The Museum will be open from 10am to 4pm on both days!
Join us this Thursday & Friday for Knight Club!
Train as a Medieval Knight, with hourly sessions until 15:00. Cost is ยฃ4.50 per session, payable on the day. Open to anyone over 6.
You can also enjoy making a sword and shield with our medieval crafts!

Have you ever wanted to understand the jigsaw of architectural features of Denny Abbey & what they tell us about the people who lived there?
You can do just that on Thursday 15th of August! We have a guided tour starting at 11 am, led by one of our knowledgeable guides.
This Thursday & Friday for our Tudor-themed week, join us to make your own Tudor tile with two sessions each day at 11:00 & 14:00!
There's a ยฃ5 charge to cover materials, payable on the day.
We'll also have free crafts including making your own Tudor ruff!
Join us Thursday & Friday where you will learn about Victorian life!
Learn & have a go at Victorian Washday! There will be washday demonstrations at 11.30, 13.00 & 14.30, so make sure you pop along and have a go!
Make a zoetrope - a Victorian toy- at our children's crafts table!

Open day: Sun 28 July, 1.30-3.30pm at Cambridge Leper Chapel: thought to be the oldest complete building in Cambridge. The Leper Chapel dates from 1125 and is on the Chisholm Trail, a popular walking and cycling route.

They do everything from caring for the collection, greeting people at the front desk and gardening around the site. However, we always need more people to join this team; that person could be you!
Our Summer holiday program starts this Thursday & Friday with our Archaeology Week!
There will be a replica archaeological dig site where children can look for treasures and archaeology-themed craft activities including the opportunity to make your own fossil impressions in clay
Our next monthly tour will be on the 18th of July at 11am!
