@InsiderTakes@mattgurney@raghu_venugopal I’m in Ontario and lucky to have a family doctor. The absolute longest I’ve ever had to wait for a test is 6 weeks for an MRI. Most other tests are completed within 2 weeks.
@t7_linda Eeekk, it’s persons with addictions, not drug addicts. The stigma around those with addiction issues is as strong as the one around those with mental disabilities.
@NoSoma4Me@M_Johnston1 So he survived a resuscitation? That’s rare at that age. It is brutal. At 87 his rib cage would have cracked 😔Only 20% of all people survive being resuscitated after cardiac arrest. Good for him!
@aliciaandrz Same I lost 70lbs! However I think it’s a good thing. I’m not comfortable with attention. Also my SIL also looked fantastic when she lost a ton of weight but it turned out to be undiagnosed pancreatic cancer that took her life 4 months later😔 Since then I don’t comment either
Tragic outcomes deserve transparency, accountability, and compassion for the patient and family. But they should also be evaluated based on facts, not assumptions.
Years of training, thousands of successful operations, and a lifetime of service shouldn’t be erased by a single adverse event before a full investigation is completed.
Medicine is practiced by humans, not machines. 🩺
