In collaboration with @CpssRomania, we conducted a field test with physicians and patients, testing two communication techniques to address vaccine hesitancy: the empathetic-refutational interview and motivational interviewing.

Vaccination appointments after the conversation with physicians were also higher than in the control group: +28% in the case of the empathic refutation interview and 34% in the motivational interview group.

Additionally, we found negative correlations between the aggression and anti-conventionalism factors of left-wing authoritarianism and the ventromedial prefrontal cortex. This area is crucial to update beliefs in the face of new information.
